How to read the Terminal book
Bids, asks, and spread from Binance public depth — a venue snapshot, not a Dextape quote.
On Terminal, Book loads the selected asset’s USDT pair from Binance public depth. Asks stack above mid, bids below. The green and red bars are size at that price, scaled to the largest level on the screen.
- Mid is the average of best bid and best ask. Spread is (ask − bid) / bid.
- A thin book (wide spread, small size) is a warning about slippage, not a narrative.
- Assets without a Binance USDT pair show an honest empty state. We will not draw a fake ladder.
